Annual tax evasion in Pakistan is 956 billion rupees. According to the report of the international research organization Apsus, tax evaders include real estate, tea, cigarettes, tires, oil and pharma sectors.
The report of the research institute Apsos has revealed that 500 billion rupees tax is evaded in real estate alone, 240 billion rupees tax is evaded in the cigarette industry.
According to Apsus report, 45 billion rupees in tea industry, 65 billion rupees in pharmaceutical sector, 106 billion rupees in tires and oil sector are being evaded.
