Israel Made A Formal Request To Saudi Arabia For Direct Hajj Flights

Israel made a formal request to Saudi Arabia for direct Hajj flights. According to the foreign news agency, there is a possibility of direct Jeddah Hajj flights from Israel.

18% of Israel’s population consists of Muslims and Muslims from Israel and Palestine go for Hajj through other countries.

Israeli authorities have made a formal request to Saudi Arabian authorities to start direct Hajj flights from Israel.

According to the news agency, Hajj flights from Israel are likely to be active from June to August, while Saudi Arabia has not yet given its position on Hajj flights from Israel.

A day ago, the Israeli foreign minister said that we have made a request to Saudi Arabia. We hope that our request will be accepted and there will be progress in peace with Saudi Arabia.

In an interview last month, the Israeli foreign minister said that the enemy of Saudi Arabia is Iran, not Israel, and that Saudi-Iran relations can lead to Saudi Arabia coming closer to Israel.
