H.E.Faisal Butt, Ambassador-at-Large of the Republic of Liberland to Pakistan and Nepal, has extended heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the people of Pakistan who are suffering from the devastating floods that have recently struck various regions of the country.
H.E. Ambassador Butt expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives, displacement of families, and widespread destruction of homes, livelihoods, and infrastructure caused by the floods. He emphasized that the thoughts and prayers of the people of Liberland are with the victims and their families during this challenging time.
The people of Pakistan have once again shown immense courage and resilience in the face of disaster. On behalf of the Republic of Liberland, I extend our deepest sympathies to those affected and reaffirm our commitment to stand by Pakistan in their time of need,” said Ambassador Butt.
H.E. further stressed the importance of regional cooperation and international solidarity in providing relief and rehabilitation to flood-affected communities. He urged humanitarian organizations, governments, and civil society to extend every possible support to help Pakistan recover from this calamity.
The Office of the Ambassador-at-Large will continue to coordinate and explore avenues for humanitarian assistance, relief collaboration, and long-term resilience-building measures in Pakistan and the wider South Asian region.
