Newly elected British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and American President Joe Biden have met for the first time.
According to foreign media, the spokesman of the White House has confirmed the meeting and said that the importance of reaching a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas was discussed in the meeting.
The spokesperson of the White House has said that on this occasion, Starmer and Biden also reiterated their commitment to a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine.
It should be noted that the newly elected British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is on a visit to the United States for NATO’s 75th anniversary summit.
