Nepal: Monsoon Rains Wreak Havoc, 14 Dead, Many Missing

Incessant monsoon rains wreaked havoc in Yapal, killing at least 14 people in various incidents.

According to foreign media reports, heavy monsoon rains are continuing in Nepal these days, due to which the roads have started to present a view of rivers and the water level in the rivers has risen to a dangerous level.

Officials say that 14 people have been killed, 12 injured and 9 people have gone missing in 36 hours due to floods and landslides.

Local police say that rescue teams are working in the affected areas and the search for missing persons is also going on.

It should be remembered that rains have been continuing in Nepal since mid-June, due to which 50 people have died in floods and landslides.
