The Indian city of Mumbai is facing a flood situation due to heavy rains.
According to Indian media, rain started in Mumbai late at night and continued till morning, 300 mm of rain was recorded in the city during 6 hours.
According to Indian media, transport facilities have been affected due to water accumulation on roads and railway tracks, 30 flights have been canceled and more than 250 delayed at Mumbai airport, while schools and colleges have also been closed due to further rain.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, more heavy rain is expected in Mumbai in the coming hours due to which the citizens have been instructed to stay indoors.
