Sri Lankan cricketer Danishka Guna Thilaka is facing a rape trial in Sydney, Australia. According to media reports, cricketer Danishka was accused of raping a woman during the T20 World Cup last year, after which the cricketer was arrested by Sydney police.
Daneshka Gona could not return to his country with the Sri Lankan team, the cricketer is on bail these days and will now fight the rape case regularly in the court.

The case of the cricketer will be heard in the local court of Sydney, the bail of the Sri Lankan cricketer has not been changed, the cricketer requested to report to the police three times a week instead of daily.
The police charged Danishka with four different charges of rape, of which the cricketer was acquitted of three charges last month.
